ACTION NARRATIVE
TAPE 99-2, SIDE A
CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 11:40 a.m. Present were Senators Pearce, Leman, Ellis, and
Kelly, Chair. CHAIRMAN KELLY announced two bills were on today's
agenda.
SENATOR LEMAN moved CSHB 22(CRA) -INVESTIGATIONS BY MUNICIPAL
ASSESSOR from committee with individual recommendations. There
being no objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR LEMAN said SB 50 makes sense for those times when the
Department of Labor has inspectors in the field but he is concerned
that SB 50 does not become a program that supplants normal
procedure. He moved SB 50-BOILER AND PRESSURE VESSEL INSPECTIONS
from committee with individual recommendations. There being no
objection, the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN KELLY adjourned the meeting at 11:43 p.m.
