CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 12:10 p.m., and noted the presence of Senators Duncan, Leman,
Torgerson and Kelly.
CHAIRMAN KELLY reviewed the committee calendar and then requested
calendaring motions on the legislation.
SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 223 - SENIOR
HOUSING be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 264 - AID FOR
MUNICIPAL ROAD MAINTENANCE be approved for calendaring at the
discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 299 - WELL TEST
FLARES & NONROAD ENGINES be approved for calendaring at the
discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 334 - STATE
TRAINING PROGRAMS/HUMAN RES.COUNCIL be approved for calendaring at

CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 304 - REGULATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES & HWYS
before the committee as the final order of business.
There were two proposed Rules committee substitutes before the
committee for its consideration. However, after discussion between
committee members and the bill's sponsor, Senator Donley, it was
agreed to delay a calendaring motion on the bill for one more day.
There being no further business to come before the committee, the
meeting adjourned at 12:22 p.m.
