CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order              
at 1:15 p.m., and noted all members were present.                              
                                                                               
CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 36 - PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING before the                
committee as the only order of business.                                       
                                                                               
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SB 36 be approved for calendaring.  SENATOR               
DUNCAN objected.  The roll was taken with the following result:                
Senators Leman, Torgerson, Taylor and Kelly voted "Yea" and Senator            
Duncan voted "Nay."  CHAIRMAN KELLY stated the motion carried on a             
4-1 vote.                                                                      
                                                                               
There being no further business to come before the committee, the              
meeting adjourned at 1:16 p.m.
