CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 10:54 a.m., and noted the presence of Senators Leman, Taylor,
Torgerson and Kelly.
CHAIRMAN KELLY brought HB 114 (HEALTH CARE DATA; BIRTH
REGISTRATIONS) before the committee.
TIM BENINTENDI , staff to the Senate Rules Committee, explained tha
an amendment was adopted in the Senate Finance Committee, however,
clerical staff inadvertently did not have a Finance SCS prepared.
He said a Rules SCS has been prepared that reflects the amendment
adopted by the Senate Finance Committee.
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SCS HB 114(RLS) be adopted. Hearing no
objection, the motion carried.
CHAIRMAN KELLY reviewed the committee agenda and requested
calendaring motions on the legislation.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 17 (CRIMINAL TRANSMISSION OF HIV) be
approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing
no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 149 (HEALTH CARE FACILITY AUDITS & REPORTS)
be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 153 (SPECIALIZED LICENSE PLATES FOR ARTS)
be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
