ACTION NARRATIVE
TAPE 97-6, SIDE A
CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 10:55 a.m., and noted the presence of Senators Leman, Torgerson,
Duncan and Kelly.
CHAIRMAN KELLY outlined the agenda and requested calendaring
motions on the legislation.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SCR 9 (ALASKA GARDEN WEEK) be approved for
calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection,
it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 55 (FISCAL PROCEDURES/BUDGET/GRANTS/REPORTS
be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair.
Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 105 (ETHICS/LOBBYING/CAMPAIGN FINANCE) be
approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing
no objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR LEMAN moved SB 151 (PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT LABOR RELATIONS) be
approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. SENATOR
DUNCAN objected. The roll was taken with the following result:
Senators Torgerson, Leman and Kelly voted "Yea" and Senator Duncan
voted "Nay." The Chairman stated the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN KELLY adjourned the meeting at 10:57 a.m.
