 CHAIRMAN RICK HALFORD called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to            
 order at 1:36 p.m.  He brought  SB 301  (REVISE FOUNDATION FORMULA,           
 SMALL SCHOOLS) before the committee and noted there was a 2d                  
 Finance CS.  The legislation was returned to the Finance Committee            
 from the Senate floor on May 5, 1994.                                         
                                                                               
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 301 be               
 approved for calendaring at the Chair's discretion.  SENATOR LITTLE           
 objected.  Senators Jacko, Zharoff and Halford were all in favor of           
 the calendaring motion.  Hearing no further objection, the motion             
 carried.                                                                      
                                                                               
 There being no further business to come before the committee, the             
 meeting was adjourned at 1:37 p.m.
