SB 61-COMMERCIAL FISHING & AGRICULTURE BANK
1:29:55 PM
CHAIR DUNLEAVY announced the consideration of SB 61. "An Act
relating to the board, loans, records, and lobbying contracts of
the Alaska." He noted that this was the second hearing.
JORDAN SHILLING, Staff, Senator John Coghill, sponsor of SB 61,
offered to answer questions.

Agriculture Bank (CFAB), offered to answer questions.

CHAIR DUNLEAVY found no questions or testimony and closed public
testimony.
1:30:57 PM
SENATOR MICCICHE stated that this was the second hearing on the
bill. Many questions were asked and answered during the previous
hearing, which explains the lack of questions today.
CHAIR DUNLEAVY solicited a motion to move the bill from
committee.
1:31:09 PM
SENATOR MICCICHE moved to report SB 61, 28-LS0396\N, from
committee with individual recommendations and attached fiscal
note(s).

from the Senate Labor and Commerce Standing Committee.
1:31:30 PM
At ease
SB 58-CANCEL INS. ON CERTAIN ABANDONED PROPERTY
1:33:05 PM
CHAIR DUNLEAVY reconvened the meeting and recognized that
Senators Olson, Micciche, Steadman and Chair Dunleavy were
present. He announced the consideration of SB 58. "An Act
allowing an insurer to cancel an insurance policy if property
becomes entirely." This was the second hearing.
CHAIR DUNLEAVY found no public testimony and closed it.
1:33:44 PM
SENATOR MICCICHE stated that this bill was heard previously.
Many questions were asked and the committee is satisfied that
abandoned property truly would be abandoned before an insurance
company would cancel the insurance. If there are no questions
today, it's because they were answered in the previous hearing,
he said.
CHAIR DUNLEAVY solicited a motion to move the bill from
committee.
1:34:06 PM
SENATOR MICCICHE moved to report SB 58, 28-LS0502\N, from
committee with individual recommendations and attached fiscal
note(s).

from the Senate Labor & Commerce Standing Committee.
1:34:30 PM
There being no further business to come before the committee,
Chair Dunleavy adjourned the Senate Labor & Commerce Standing
Committee meeting at 1:34 p.m.
