HB 91 EXTEND BOARD OF PAROLE
VICE-CHAIR DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Judiciary Committee
meeting to order at 1:35 p.m. and announced the presence of
Senators Miller and Parnell. The only measure before the committee
was HB 91, which extends the termination date of the Board of
Parole to June 30, 2001 and provides for an effective date.
Senator Pearce noted that a sponsor statement and the required
Legislative Budget and Audit report were included in committee
packets.
SENATOR PARNELL moved HB 91 and its accompanying fiscal note out of
committee with individual recommendations. There being no
objection, the motion carried.
VICE-CHAIR PEARCE announced there will be a Senate Judiciary
Committee meeting on Monday, February 24, and adjourned the meeting
at 1:40 p.m.
