Co-Chair  Stedman  explained   changes  in  the  legislation,                                                                   
including inserted  language regarding the  outer continental                                                                   
shelf  and  the  addition  of President  Obama  as  a  copied

BEN MULLIGAN,  STAFF, REPRESENTATIVE  BILL STOLTZE,  SPONSOR,                                                                   
summarized the  CS as stating  the legislature's  position on                                                                   
what the  economic stimulus  package moving through  Congress                                                                   
should  focus  on. The  resolution  recognizes  the  economic                                                                   
situation in the country and in Alaska in particular.                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Huggins  commented on  changes incorporated  into the                                                                   
CS on  page 2, line 9  regarding the outer  continental shelf                                                                   
fair share provision.                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Co-Chair Hoffman  MOVED to  report SCSCS  HJR11 (FIN)  out of                                                                   
Committee   with    individual   recommendations    and   the                                                                   
accompanying fiscal  note. There  being NO OBJECTION,  it was
