CHAIRMAN JOHN TORGERSON called the Senate Community & Regional
Affairs Committee meeting to order at 1:57 p.m. Present were
Austerman, Phillips and Chairman Torgerson.
There was one item on the agenda.
HB 16-HOME RULE COMMUNITIES
CHAIRMAN TORGERSON said he is ready to move the bill even though he
has some concerns with the bill. Those concerns center particularly
in the area of entitlements of land, money and revenue sharing that
communities would automatically receive. However, the majority of
the concerns are finance issues so should appropriately be
discussed in that committee.
He asked for a motion.
SENATOR PHILLIPS moved HB 16 and accompanying fiscal notes from
committee with individual recommendations. There were no
objections.
CHAIRMAN Torgerson adjourned the meeting at 2:00 p.m.
