  SUMMARY INFORMATION                                                          
                                                                               
                                                                               
  CSHB 55(FINANCE) AND SCS CSHB 55 (RLS) AM S (EFD FLD S)                      
                                                                               
       Act  making appropriations  for the  operating and                      
       loan program  expenses of state government  and to                      
       capitalize funds.                                                       
                                                                               
       The Conference Committee  reviewed and closed  out                      
       the budget for:                                                         
                                                                               
          DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT                        
                                                                               
  Log notes, attachments, and tapes of the meeting are on file                 
  and available  at the Office of the  House Finance committee                 
  secretary (465-2156)  or Legislative Finance  Division (465-                 
  3795).                                                                       
                                                                               
  All areas  of the Dept.  of Commerce &  Economic Development                 
  budget  were acted upon with the exception of items relating                 
                                                                               
                                                                               
  to  Commercial Fishing  and  the  Alaska  Seafood  Marketing                 
  Institute.                                                                   
                                                                               
  ANNOUNCEMENT                                                                 
                                                                               
  Chairman Larson  announced that  the next  meeting would  be                 
  Monday, April 26, 1993, at 3:00  p.m., for review of budgets                 
  for the Dept. of Administration, Dept. of Transportation and                 
  Public Facilities, and University of Alaska.
