Number 0001
CO-CHAIR SCOTT OGAN called the House Resources Standing Committee
meeting to order at 1:13 p.m. Members present at the call to order
were Representatives Ogan, Sanders, Harris, Morgan, Barnes,
Whitaker and Kapsner.
SB 74 - SAME DAY AIRBORNE HUNTING
Number 0041
CO-CHAIR OGAN brought before the committee Senate Bill No. 74, "An
Act relating to hunting on the same day airborne." He noted that
public testimony had been taken previously, and that public
testimony was closed. He told members that after looking at a
couple of different ideas, he had decided that it might be a good
idea to leave the bill the way it is.
Number 0085
REPRESENTATIVE BARNES made a motion to move SB 74 out of committee
with individual recommendations and accompanying fiscal note(s);
she asked unanimous consent. There being no objection, SB 74 was
moved from the House Resources Standing Committee.
CO-CHAIR OGAN adjourned the meeting at 1:15 p.m., then called the
meeting back to order and rescinded the adjournment.
CO-CHAIR OGAN announced that the meeting would be recessed to the
call of the chair, in order to possibly hear SCR 7 on Friday, April
9. [SCR 7 was scheduled for the current meeting but had not yet
passed out of the Senate.] He recessed the House Resources
Standing Committee meeting at 1:17 p.m.
