I. CALL TO ORDER
CHAIR GUTTENBERG called the Legislative Council meeting to
order at 11:33am by teleconference. Present at the call were:
Representatives Claman, Edgmon, Millett, Ortiz, Drummond
(alternate), and Guttenberg; Senators Coghill, Giessel, Kelly,
MacKinnon, Micciche, and Stedman. Members absent were:
Representatives Kito, Stutes, Eastman (alternate); Senators
Hoffman, and Costello (alternate).
Twelve members present.
II. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
11:36:35 AM
SENATOR STEDMAN moved that Legislative Council approve the
agenda as presented.
CHAIR GUTTENBERG asked are there any questions?
A roll call vote was taken.
YEAS: Claman, Edgmon, Millett, Ortiz, Drummond, Coghill,
Giessel, Kelly, MacKinnon, Micciche, Stedman,
Guttenberg
NAYS: None
The motion passed 12-0.
III. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
a. CAPITOL COOLING SYSTEM
CHAIR GUTTENBERG this item is the reason we are having the
meeting at this time. Are there any questions on the contract?
We have a page here from Tim Banaszak that describes the
system, we have the awarding of the contract to Behrends
Mechanical for $229,404.00 and a contingency of ten percent.
Are there any questions? Did anybody not get all the
paperwork? Hearing no questions, please offer the motion to
accept the contract.

SENATOR STEDMAN moved that Legislative Council approve ITB 634
to Behrends Mechanical, Inc. for a total of $229,404.00 and a
contingency reserve of ten percent for a not to exceed total
cost of $252,344.40 for the Capitol Cooling System.
CHAIR GUTTENBERG asked is there objection? Hearing none,
please call the roll.
