CALL TO ORDER
Chair Hoffman called the Conference Committee meeting on
HB263 and HB265 to order at 4:00 p.m.

SUMMARY

Co-Chair Hoffman relayed that limited Powers of Free
Conference had been granted by both the House and the
Senate. He invited Alexei Painter, Director of the
Legislative Finance Division (LFD) to join the committee at
the table. The committee would be addressing open items in
HB 263 and HB 265 based on the motion sheets distributed to
members earlier today and dated May 12th in the area of:
FY26 Supplemental Operating Items
Vice-Chair Josephson MOVED that the Committee adopt the
following in FY 26 Supplemental Operating Items:
Items 1 and 2 Senate
Item 3 Senate, both items
Item 4 Open
Items 5 20 Senate, all items
Item 21 Open
Items 22 Senate, both items
Items 23 25 Senate, all items
There being NO OBJECTION, it was so ordered.
Co-Chair Hoffman stated that this action closed conference-
able items 1 through 3, items 5 through 20, and items 22
through 25 in FY 26 Supplemental Operating Items and left
open items 4 and 21.
Co-Chair Hoffman relayed that as future meetings of the
conference committee were scheduled, they would be posted
on BASIS to provide reasonable public notice under the 24-
hour rule.
Vice-Chair Josephson MOVED to ADJOURN. There being NO
OBJECTION, it was so ordered.
