CALL TO ORDER
Chair Chenault called the House Finance Committee meeting to
order at 12:08:01 PM.

analysts with the Office of Management and Budget and
Legislative Finance Division; and aides to committee members
and other members of the Legislature.

An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan
program expenses of state government, for certain
programs, and to capitalize funds; and providing for an
effective date."
CSHB 66(FIN)
An Act making appropriations for the operating and
capital expenses of the state's integrated
comprehensive mental health program; and providing for
an effective date."
and
SCS CSHB 67(FIN)
An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan
program expenses of state government, for certain
programs, and to capitalize funds; making
appropriations under art. IX, sec. 17(c), Constitution
of the State of Alaska, from the constitutional budget
reserve fund; and providing for an effective date."
SCS CSHB 66(FIN)
An Act making appropriations for the operating and
capital expenses of the state's integrated
comprehensive mental health program; and providing for

HB 66 and HB 67 were heard and HELD in Committee for
further consideration. Motions were taken on the

Department of Labor's Budget:
Senate versions on Items 1, 4, and 5
House versions on Items 2, 3, 8 and 9.
Items 6, and 7 will remain open.

Senator Wilken MOVED to ADOPT the following items in the
Committee adopt the Department of Law's Budget:
Senate versions on Items 12 and 13
House versions Item 9
Amend the Senate versions by one half on Items 1,
3, 5, 8, 10, and 11.
Amend the Senate version on the first line of Item
7 by minus $50.0 (part a) and the House version on
Item 7 line 2 (part b).
Items 2, 4, 6 and 14 will remain open.

Military and Veterans Affairs Budget:

Chair Chenault noted that the action would close the
department's budget.

Senator Wilken MOVED to ADOPT the following items in the
Department of Natural Resources Budget:

Senator Wilken MOVED to ADOPT the following items in the
Department of Fish and Game's Budget:
House version minus $150.0 on Item 1
Senate Version on Items 2,
Senate Version on Items 3d (senate test fish $225)
federal receipts,
Senate Version on Items 4 (federal 850. senate
version),
Senate 5, 7, and 8
House Version on Items 6 and 9
Senator Wilken clarified that the net affect of Items 3 and
4 would be $850 federal and $225 thousand test fisheries is
the net affect.
Chair Chenault observed the Department of Fish and Game's
budget was closed.
