       SENATE BILL NO. 17                                                      
                                                                               
       "An Act creating the crime  of criminal transmission of                 
  human     immunodeficiency virus (HIV)."                                     
                                                                               
                                                                               
  Co-chair Sharp  asked SB  17 be  waived from  Senate Finance                 
  Committee.   Senator Adams objected saying  testimony needed                 
  to be  taken regarding  the bill.   Co-chair  Sharp said  he                 
  would reschedule a hearing for next week.
