was read the first time and referred to the Transportation and Finance

SB 10                                                                                                                         
SENATE BILL NO. 10 "An Act establishing a grant program to                                                                      
provide to essential workers the tuition and fees to attend a state-                                                            
supported postsecondary educational institution" was read the second                                                            
time.                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bishop, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 841.                                                               
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 10(FIN) was adopted.                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
Senator Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent the following                                                                 
fiscal information be adopted:                                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
 Fiscal Note No. 5, Senate Rules Committee                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, Fiscal Note No. 5 was adopted.

advance to third reading on the May 15 calendar.
