The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 69(FIN) am S Second Reading Amendment No. 4? YEAS: 9 NAYS: 11 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Costello, Holland, Hughes, Kawasaki, Micciche, Myers, Reinbold, Shower, Wielechowski Nays: Begich, Bishop, Gray-Jackson, Hoffman, Kiehl, Olson, Revak, Stedman, Stevens, von Imhof, Wilson Micciche changed from "NAY" to "YEA" and so, Amendment No. 4 failed. Senator Shower offered Amendment No. 5 : Page 4, following line 12: Insert new material to read: "It is the intent of the legislature that the Department of Administration provide to the Legislative Finance Division and the Co-Chairs of the Finance Committees, not later than December 1, 2021, a plan to acquire the equipment necessary to produce an Alaska driver's license that does not require sending the personal information of Alaska residents to a foreign-owned corporation or foreign government." Senator Shower moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 5. Senator von Imhof objected, then withdrew her objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 5 was adopted.
