Full Journal pdf2022-05-16 House Journal Page 2951 SENATE BILLS IN SECOND READING SB 203 The following, which was held in second reading from the May 15 calendar (page 2933), was before the House: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 203(FIN) "An Act designating the Alaska marine highway system and portions of the Parks, Glenn, Seward, and Sterling Highways as a part of the State's Purple Heart Trail and relating to signage and informational displays for the trail." Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Tarr: Page 2, following line 18: Insert new bill sections to read: "* Sec. 4. AS 35.40 is amended by adding a new section to read: Sec. 35.40.223. Insook Baik Bridge. The Bragaw Street overcrossing of the Glenn Highway located in Mountain View in Anchorage is named the Insook Baik Bridge. * Sec. 5. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to read: DONATIONS FOR INSOOK BAIK BRIDGE SIGNAGE AND INFORMATIONAL DISPLAYS. Notwithstanding the absence of separate accounting authority under AS 37.05.146, the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities may accept gifts, donations, and grants from a person or agency for the purpose of providing signage and informational displays for the Insook Baik Bridge. Gifts, donations, and grants shall be used in accordance with a memorandum of understanding agreed on by the donor and the department." Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Representative Tarr moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. There being no objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted.
