         Establishing a House Special Committee on Ways and Means.                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Representative Thompson objected.                                                                                               
                                                                                                                                
Representative Carpenter placed a call of the House and lifted the call.                                                        
                                                                                                                                
Representative Carpenter moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                 
Representative Prax be excused from the call of the House today.                                                                
There being no objection, it was so ordered.                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
The question being:  "Shall HR 6 pass the House?"  The roll was taken
