Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative McCarty: Page 2, following line 9: Insert "FURTHER RESOLVED by the Alaska State Legislature that the bills submitted according to the call of the Fourth Special Session shall be heard and given an up or down vote in committees and in the full floors of the Legislature." Representative McCarty moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There was objection. Representative McCarty moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Tuck moved and asked unanimous consent that Representative McCabe be excused from today to 8:00 a.m., October 8. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representative Carpenter: Page 1, line 3 (title amendment): Delete "21" Insert "12" Page 2, line 5: Delete "21" Insert "12" Representative Carpenter moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. The question being: "Shall HCR 401 am pass the House?"
