Senator Bishop, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Labor and Commerce Committee Substitute offered on page 1863. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 81(L&C) was adopted. President Giessel stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 81(L&C) will advance to third reading on the March 4 calendar. Third Reading of Senate Bills SB 115 CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 115(FIN) was read the third time. The question being: "Shall CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 115(FIN) "An Act relating to vehicle registration fees; relating to the motor fuel tax; and providing for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSSB 115(FIN) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 12 NAYS: 5 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Begich, Bishop, Coghill, Giessel, Gray-Jackson, Hoffman, Kiehl, Micciche, Olson, Revak, Stevens, von Imhof Nays: Hughes, Reinbold, Shower, Wielechowski, Wilson Excused: Costello, Kawasaki, Stedman and so, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 115(FIN) passed the Senate.
