Without objection, it was so ordered. The presence of Senator Stedman was noted. Messages from the House SB 40 Message dated May 2 was read stating the House passed and returned: SENATE BILL NO. 40 "An Act establishing the month of February as Black History Month." The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment. Concur Messages SB 78 Message dated May 2 was read stating the House passed and returned for consideration SENATE BILL NO. 78 "An Act establishing May 31 of each year as Katie John Day" with the following amendment: HOUSE CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 78(TRB) "An Act establishing May 31 of each year as Katie John Day; and providing for an effective date." Senator Costello moved the Senate concur in the House amendment. Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. The question being: "Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment?"
