          So I ask us to reflect for a moment on the better                                                                     
          angels of our nature, on the spirit of peace and grace                                                                
          that dwells in humanity. What does it mean to see                                                                     
          each other as friends and not as enemies, to be bound                                                                 
          together in one chorus? I invite you to breathe in the                                                                
          hope and the ugliness of what people can be and what                                                                  
          we do to each other. Rise above the attacks, seek a                                                                   
          better way, embrace the eternal love I refer to as God.
