SECOND READING OF HOUSE RESOLUTIONS HR 10 The Speaker stated that, without objection, the following would be held to tomorrow's calendar: HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 10 Urging the United States Congress to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 without an exemption for tribal governments in the state and to support Savanna's Act and highlight the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women. SECOND READING OF SENATE RESOLUTIONS SJR 11 The Speaker stated that, without objection, the following would be held to tomorrow's calendar: CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 11(TRA) Urging the United States to issue a Presidential permit authorizing a railroad crossing of the Alaska-Canada border from state land into Yukon, Canada; and supporting cooperation between the United States and Canada to establish a public-private partnership for construction of a railroad from Alberta, Canada, to the state that would connect the Alaska Railroad to the North American railroad system. LEGISLATIVE CITATIONS Representative Thompson moved and asked unanimous consent that the House approve the citations on the calendar.
