Page 52, following line 6:                                                                                                      
     Insert a new subsection to read:                                                                                           
     "(c)  It is the intent of the legislature that a department that has                                                       
submitted a fiscal note to the legislature immediately notify the                                                               
legislature if it appears more likely than not that the department's fiscal                                                     
note is in error and that actual expenditures will exceed the amount                                                            
reported in the department's fiscal note."                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                   
Amendment No. 16 be adopted.
