HB 307 Memorandum dated September 14, from Gerald P. Luckhaupt, Revisor of Statutes, was received stating: Section 43, ch. 85, SLA 2018, included a condition that secs. 1 - 4, 6, 9, 10, 12 - 39, 41, and 42(b) - (d), ch. 85, SLA 2018, only take effect if the adjutant general of the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs notifies the revisor of statutes, on or before January 1, 2019, that the President of the United States signs an executive order designating the effective date, under sec. 5542, P.L. 114-328, National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, of the amendments to the Uniform Code of Military Justice made by the Military Justice Act of 2016.
