    Delete all material and insert:                                                                                             
"* Section 1. AS 14.17 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                            
         Sec. 14.17.475. Public school funding supplement. In                                                                 
    addition to other school funding available under this chapter, the                                                          
    department shall annually distribute to each school district an                                                             
    amount equal to $100 for each student counted under                                                                         
    AS 14.17.500 in the district for the previous fiscal year."
