Representative Millett brought up reconsideration of the vote on                                                                
CSHB 123(JUD) (page 919).                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
The following was before the House in third reading:                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 123(JUD)                                                                                              
    "An Act establishing the Marijuana Control Board; relating to the                                                           
    powers and duties of the Marijuana Control Board; relating to the                                                           
    appointment, removal, and duties of the director of the Marijuana                                                           
    Control Board; relating to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board;                                                            
    and providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
Representative Lynn moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB
123(JUD) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of

considering Amendment No. 2.  There being no objection, it was so                                                               
ordered.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
Amendment No. 2 was offered  by Representatives Lynn, Saddler,                                                                   
Johnson, Tilton, Keller, Hawker, Pruitt, Vazquez, Talerico, Hughes,                                                             
Tuck, Olson, Reinbold, Kito, Herron, and Gruenberg:                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Page 6, following line 7:                                                                                                       
    Insert a new bill section to read:                                                                                          
"* Sec. 4. AS 17.38.100 is amended by adding a new subsection to                                                              
read:                                                                                                                           
         (i)  A marijuana establishment may not be registered under                                                             
    this chapter if a person who is an owner, officer, or agent of the                                                          
    marijuana establishment has been convicted of a felony and either                                                           
             (1)  less than five years have elapsed from the time of the                                                        
    person's conviction; or                                                                                                     
             (2)  the person is currently on probation or parole for that                                                       
    felony."                                                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
Renumber the following bill sections accordingly.                                                                               
                                                                                                                                
Representative Lynn moved and asked unanimous consent that                                                                      
Amendment No. 2 be adopted.                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
Objection was heard and withdrawn.  There being no further objection,                                                           
Amendment No. 2 was adopted.
