Senators Wielechowski, French, Stevens, Olson, Dunleavy, Micciche, Dyson, Coghill, Gardner, Bishop, Egan, Giessel, Fairclough, Meyer, Stedman moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cross sponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 15(RES) Supporting the introduction and enactment of federal legislation acknowledging that the federal government is financially responsible under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act for the remediation of contaminated land subject to conveyance under the Act; and urging the United States Department of the Interior to implement the six recommendations to identify and clean up the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act lands in its 1998 report to the United States Congress, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHJR 15(RES) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 17 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 3 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Bishop, Coghill, Dunleavy, Dyson, Egan, Fairclough, French, Gardner, Giessel, Huggins, Kelly, Meyer, Micciche, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Wielechowski Excused: Ellis, Hoffman, McGuire and so, SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 15(RES) passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment. SCR 18 Senator Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent to take up SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 18, which had been held on the Secretary's desk (page 1807). Without objection, the resolution was before the Senate on final passage.
