The Education Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 107 "An                                                                      
Act relating to school and school district accountability; relating to the                                                      
duties of the Department of Education and Early Development; and                                                                
establishing a reading program for public school students enrolled in                                                           
grades kindergarten through three" and recommended it be replaced                                                               
with                                                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 107(EDC) "An Act                                                                               
          relating to school and school district accountability;                                                                
          relating to the duties of the Department of Education                                                                 
          and Early Development; establishing a reading                                                                         
          program for public school students enrolled in grades                                                                 
          kindergarten through three; and providing for an
