Representative Munoz moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 278(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Speaker stated that, without objection, CSHB 278(FIN) would be returned to second reading for all amendments. Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representatives Munoz, Edgmon, Costello, Seaton, Hawker, Chenault, Stoltze, Gara, and Kawasaki: Page 1, line 11, through page 2, line 3 (title amendment): Delete "adjusting the calculation of state aid for public school funding; relating to the local contribution to public education funding; relating to the withholding of state aid to public education for teacher retirement contributions; relating to the teachers' defined benefit retirement plan; establishing the teachers' pension reserve fund;" Page 12, line 24, through page 15, line 6: Delete all material. Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Page 15, line 26: Delete "sec. 21" Insert "sec. 19"
