Full Journal pdf2012-02-15 Senate Journal Page 1509 Consideration of the Calendar Second Reading of Senate Resolutions SJR 16 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16 Urging the United States Congress to approve legislation allowing members of the military to receive promised retirement benefits, was read the second time. Senator Meyer moved and asked unanimous consent that the resolution be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16 was read the third time. Senators Coghill, Dyson, French, Wagoner, Meyer, Ellis, Menard, Davis, Egan, Stedman, Thomas, Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16 Urging the United States Congress to approve legislation allowing members of the military to receive promised retirement benefits, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: SJR 16 Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 16 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 4 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Coghill, Davis, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, French, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Menard, Meyer, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Excused: Kookesh, McGuire, Olson, Paskvan and so, SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16 passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment. SCR 21 SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 21 Relating to an amendment to Rule 20(a), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, relating to standing committees, was read the second time.
