Senators Dyson, Wagoner, Thomas, Olson, Davis, Ellis, Paskvan, Menard, Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent to be shown as cosponsors on the resolution. Without objection, it was so ordered. The question being: "Shall CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16(RES) Expressing support for responsible development of the oil and gas resources in federal waters offshore of Alaska's coast as a means to ensure energy independence, security for the nation, and jobs for Alaskans; and urging the United States Congress to provide a means for consistently sharing with all coastal energy-producing states, on an ongoing basis, revenue generated from oil and gas development on the outer continental shelf, to ensure that those states develop, support, and maintain necessary infrastructure and preserve environmental integrity, pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSSJR 16(RES) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 16 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 1 VACANT: 1 Yeas: Bunde, Davis, Dyson, Ellis, French, Hoffman, Huggins, Menard, Meyer, Olson, Paskvan, Stedman, Stevens, Thomas, Wagoner, Wielechowski Excused: Kookesh, McGuire Absent: Therriault and so, CS FOR SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16(RES) passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment. Second Reading of House Resolutions HCR 11 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 11 was read the second time and was before the Senate on final passage.
