The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 35(FIN) Third Reading Effective Date YEAS: 23 NAYS: 13 EXCUSED: 4 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Chenault, Coghill, Dahlstrom, Fairclough, Gatto, Harris, Hawker, Herron, Johansen, Johnson, Keller, Kelly, Lynn, Millett, Munoz, Neuman, Olson, Ramras, Seaton, Stoltze, Thomas, Tuck, Wilson Nays: Buch, Crawford, Doogan, Edgmon, Gara, Gardner, Gruenberg, Guttenberg, Holmes, Joule, Kawasaki, Kerttula, Salmon Excused: Austerman, Cissna, Foster, Petersen And so, lacking the required 27 votes, the effective date clause was not adopted, and the new title follows: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 35(FIN)(ct rule fld)(efd fld) "An Act relating to notice and consent for a minor's abortion; relating to penalties for performing an abortion; relating to a judicial bypass procedure for an abortion; relating to coercion of a minor to have an abortion; and relating to reporting of abortions performed on minors." CSHB 35(FIN)(ct rule fld)(efd fld) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment. The Speaker stated that, without objection, the House would recess until 1:15 p.m.; and so, the House recessed at 12:00 p.m. AFTER RECESS The Speaker called the House back to order at 1:23 p.m.
