The Labor and Commerce Committee considered SENATE BILL NO.                                                                     
39 "An Act relating to the amount of the state's business license fee"                                                          
and recommended it be replaced with                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 39(L&C) "An Act                                                                                
          relating to business licenses, to the amount of the                                                                   
          state's business license fee, to the penalty for not                                                                  
          obtaining a business license, and to business license                                                                 
          penalties under certain financial institution,                                                                        
          occupational licensing, employment agency, and                                                                        
          taxation laws; and providing for an effective date."
