The Resources Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 246 "An                                                                      
Act establishing a working group to analyze the potential of a                                                                  
hydroelectric power project on the Susitna River; and providing for an                                                          
effective date" and recommended it be replaced with                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
            CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 246(RES) "An Act                                                                             
            directing the Alaska Energy Authority to analyze the                                                                
            potential of a hydroelectric power project on the                                                                   
            Susitna River; and providing for an effective date."
