The bill was before the Senate on reconsideration. Senator McGuire moved that the bill be returned to second reading for the purpose of a specific amendment, that being Amendment No. 2. Senator McGuire offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 1, line 2: Delete "donations to" Page 4, following line 23: Insert a new bill section to read: "* Sec. 7. AS 13.50.160 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: (e) Money appropriated to the fund may be spent for the purposes of the fund without further appropriation. Money appropriated to the fund does not lapse." Renumber the following bill sections accordingly. Page 26, line 31: Delete "secs. 17 - 27" Insert "secs. 18 - 28" Senator McGuire moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Senator Therriault objected, then withdrew his objection.
