The State Affairs Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 290 "An                                      
Act relating to reimbursement of premiums for Servicemembers'                                       
Group Life Insurance paid by members of the Alaska National Guard                                   
deployed to a combat zone; and providing for an effective date" and                                 
recommended it be replaced with                                                                     
                                                                                                    
          CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 290(STA) "An Act                                                   
          providing for the issuance of complimentary fishing                                       
          and hunting licenses to certain members of the                                            
          Alaska National Guard returning from active duty                                          
          deployment; relating to reimbursement of premiums                                         
          for Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance paid by                                          
          members of the Alaska National Guard deployed to a                                        
          combat zone; and providing for an effective date."
