The Finance Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 254 "An Act                                        
relating to the levy and collection of an assessment on certain tourism-                            
related and recreation-related goods and services, and repealing the                                
levy of excise taxes of certain passenger and recreation vehicles; and                              
providing for an effective date" and recommended it be replaced with                                
                                                                                                    
                   CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 254(FIN) "An Act                                         
                 relating to tourism marketing contracts; and                                      
          providing for an effective date."
