 Insert a new subsection to read:                                                                   
     "(f) The department shall conduct, at least annually, an                                       
    unannounced inspection of each site of the Alaska Pioneers' Home                                
    and the Alaska Veterans' Home to determine compliance of the                                    
    facilities with all applicable laws and regulations."
