    HOUSE BILL NO. 293                                                                              
    "An Act levying and collecting a state sales and use tax; and                                   
    providing for an effective date."                                                               
                                                                                                    
and recommends it be replaced with:                                                                 
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 293(FIN)                                                                  
    "An Act relating to a state sales and use tax; relating to taxes                                
    levied by cities and boroughs; providing authority to the                                       
    Department of Revenue to enter into the Streamlined Sales and                                   
    Use Tax Agreement; relating to the motor fuel tax; relating to the                              
    definition of 'taxpayer'; relating to the rate of interest on                                   
    delinquent taxes and overpayments of taxes; and providing for an                                
    effective date."
