CSSB 337(L&C) was signed by the Speaker and Chief Clerk and returned to the Senate. Without objection, the House reverted to: MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE HB 196 A message dated May 11, 2004, was read stating the Senate has passed CSHB 196(RES) with the following amendment and it is transmitted for consideration: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 196(RES) am S "An Act relating to carbon sequestration; and providing for an effective date." The message further stated that under Rule 43(b) of the Uniform Rules engrossment had been waived and the following certified amendment was attached: Page 1, line 5: Delete "(a)" Page 1, lines 6 - 10: Delete all material. Renumber the following paragraphs accordingly. Page 1, lines 13 - 14: Delete "and help offset carbon dioxide emissions from other sectors of the economy" Page 2, lines 4 - 6: Delete all material.
