Senator Ellis moved that in accordance with Uniform Rule 48(d),                                     
SENATE BILL NO. 3002 "An Act making appropriations to the                                           
Department of Administration, division of Alaska longevity programs,                                
to enable the division to make available additional beds in the Alaska                              
Pioneers' and Veterans' Home; and providing for an effective date" be                               
discharged from the Finance Committee. Senator Taylor objected.                                     
                                                                                                    
Senator Ellis rose to a point of order. President Halford ruled the point                           
well taken and cautioned the members to proceed in order.                                           
                                                                                                    
The question being: "Shall the bill be discharged from the Finance
