The roll was taken with the following result: HCS CSSB 252(FIN) Shall the Senate Concur in the House amendment to CSSB 252(RLS)? YEAS: 13 NAYS: 7 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Austerman, Cowdery, Donley, Kelly, Leman, Olson, Phillips, Stevens, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Nays: Davis, Ellis, Elton, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Lincoln and so, the Senate concurred in the House amendment, thus adopting HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 252(FIN) "An Act renaming the Alaska Human Resource Investment Council as the Alaska Workforce Investment Board and relating to its membership; relating to repayment on promissory notes for work-related items paid for by grant programs; extending the termination date of the state training and employment program; relating to employment and training activities; and providing for an effective date." Senator Leman moved the effective date clause. The question being: "Shall the effective date clause be adopted?" The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
