The Resources Committee has considered:                                                             
                                                                                                    
    HOUSE BILL NO. 48                                                                               
    "An Act eliminating a requirement that a social security number                                 
    be provided by an applicant for a hunting or sport fishing license                              
    or tag; and providing for an effective date."                                                   
                                                                                                    
and recommends it be replaced with:                                                                 
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 48(RES)                                                                   
    "An Act eliminating a requirement that a social security number                                 
    be provided by an applicant for certain hunting or sport fishing                                
    licenses, tags, and permits; eliminating a requirement that                                     
    applications for certain licenses and tags be sworn to by the                                   
    applicants before an officer authorized to administer oaths; and                                
    providing for an effective date."
