Some of us will not return, some will, and there will be new faces in next year's legislature, and this is as it should be. All of us are common folks representing other common folks, doing the best we can for the common good of this magnificent state. Though we make mistakes, we pray that we conduct ourselves properly; that we are worthy of the high office to which we have been elected. Father God, keep us mindful that we have been honored to serve in this body, and keep us mindful that we have an obligation to do it honorably. Please guide us this day, Lord, during this last day. Please bless us with wisdom, integrity, consideration for each other, and most importantly, please guide our thoughts, deeds, and speech - that we independently and collectively do what is pleasing to You. In Jesus, our Savior's Name, we pray this, Lord God Almighty. Amen. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Representative Foster.
