2001-03-13 House Journal Page 0562 HB 34 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the March 12, 2001, calendar (page 551), was read the third time: SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 34 "An Act relating to the statutory rule against perpetuities, to nonvested property interests and trusts, and to the suspension of the power of alienation of property; and providing for an effective date." **The presence of Representative Moses was noted. The question being: "Shall SSHB 34 pass the House?" Representative James moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. SSHB 34 was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
