I believe most Alaskans are offended by the sleazy, gutless and inaccurate soft money ads now blanketing our airwaves. The Twenty-Second Alaska Legislature had an opportunity to set high standards for Alaska political campaigns. It failed. By vetoing this bill, I am giving a future Legislature the opportunity to do it right.
