Senator Ellis gave notice of reconsideration. HB 56 CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 56(FIN) was read the third time. Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objections were heard and Senator Taylor was required to vote. The question being: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 56(FIN) "An Act relating to minimum wages; and providing for an effective date" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 56(FIN) Third Reading - Final Passage YEAS: 7 NAYS: 13 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Donley, Elton, Halford, Hoffman, Lincoln, Olson, Phillips Nays: Austerman, Cowdery, Davis, Ellis, Green, Kelly, Leman, Stevens, Taylor, Therriault, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Olson changed from "Nay" to "Yea". and so, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 56(FIN) failed. Senator Kelly gave notice of reconsideration. HB 296 SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 296(JUD) was read the third time.
